For a London girl who kick-started her career on the Internet, Lily Allen is flying higher than ever. Her cheeky songs, down-to-earth lyrics and dramatic sense of fashion have earned her a place at the top of the charts and have seen her climb her way out of Internet-based cultdom, into mainstream critical acclaim. Lily has confirmed she'll take 'one or two years off from recording and performing music' from March 2010, using the time off to start her own record label, set up a fashion shop.
