Blackburn Symphony Orchestra

The Blackburn Sinfonia was founded in 1965. Over the last forty years the orchestra has attracted players from a wide geographical area and has worked consistently with professional conductors and soloists to achieve a high standard of performance. In 1997 the orchestra was renamed the Blackburn Symphony Orchestra to better reflect it's status as one of the finest amateur orchestras in the North West.
