George McCrae

Known as ‘The King’ of the soul revolution, George McCrae has been famous ever since his 1974 smash hit Rock You Baby stormed the charts worldwide. He is credited with creating the ‘Miami Sound’, which fast became the most fashionable disco sound of the seventies. His Rock You Baby track became the benchmark for disco artists around the globe, securing his place in disco history.

This 12-piece band based in London have collectively recorded or performed with some of the biggest names in the music world, from Queen, Lionel Ritchie and Robbie Williams to Cliff Richard, The Bee Gees, Chaka Khan and Kyle Minogue.
