Thee Single Spy are a six-piece band who write clarinet and organ-fuelled songs about drowning towns, lyrical Christian campfire traditions and the smoking of herbal anxiety medications, drawing comparisons with Tom Waits, Arcade Fire, Smog, Bright Eyes and Beirut. Once the spirit of older, cracklier times and rhymes, they now play rock music.
