Future Of The Left

Future Of The Left

Mclusky former main man, Andrew Falkous is back with a damn fantastic new band! 'A collection of tracks that are what rock'n'roll should sound like: an adventure; a reinvention of what is possible with vocals, guitars and drums" - NME 8/10. 'Miles ahead of the post-hardcore pack' - Uncut 4/5

White Belt Yellow Tag

White Belt Yellow Tag

White Belt Yellow Tag are Justin Lockey & Craig Pilbin. Lockey who was previously a part of, Yourcodenameis:Milo, had bumped into Pilbin up in Newcastle; Lockey knew his way around a studio and Pilbin had a bunch of songs he wanted to try out. The two consequently began working together and the relationship soon developed beyond producer / writer, as they shared duties playing all the instruments rather than waste time recruiting a band. Within weeks they had amassed a bunch of amazing songs that teetered somewhere between the glacial grind of Slint and the soaring majesty of Doves – dramatic, tense & uplifting.

Victorian English Gentlemen's Club

Victorian English Gentlemen's Club

A jagged, noisy three-piece from Cardiff who mix serrated, schizophrenic textures with their butchered guitar-bass-drums combo and a fracas of conflicting vocals. A fast-rising vertebra in the spine of the Cardiff music scene, VEGC have a captivating sense of imminence and confrontation about them that cements the understanding that pop music will not always be friendly.

Kong

Kong

This is absolutely as heavy as it gets and not for the faint-hearted. This Manchester trio play venomous monster riffs that almost puts their inspiration (McLusky) in the shade. These guys have a scary liking for masks and matching outfits just to alienate you a little further. A large mythical musical beast indeed.
