From Norway, Ungdomskulen are disciplined, explosive, uncategorisable, definitive. They've been described as 'the sound of Steve Albini playing progrock disco', but that doesn't even come close. Their towering, histrionic post-rock epics sound like no one else around, although words like Can, Sabbath, Zappa, Fugazi, Melvins, Jesus Lizard, Mogwai, Sonic Youth, Public Image, The Fall and The Cure have been thrown about.
