Formed in 2005, The Dykeenies' snappy pop songs brought them to the attention of the Glasgow indie scene and soon after the UK was greeted by their faces in a double page feature in Play Magazine. One to watch.

This Scottish five-piece perform melodic, folksy pop songs adorned with colourful arrangements which utilise violins, xylophones and percussion. Their sparkling, magical music has been winning them fans both throughout their native Scotland and farther afield. Emmy the Great writes songs for her friends. Her friends are all double crossing liars, and some of them are dead. Emmy seems to have come out of nowhere, sharing an aesthetic backdrop with Cat Power and Regina Spektor. A point of note for any audience would be the directness and frankness with which she approaches lyricism, a keen contender on the British anti-folk scene.
