The Jive Aces

The No 1 Jive and Swing band in the UK playing a lively 40s and 50s music including swing, jive, rock'n'roll, boogie woogie and rhythm and blues with a great live show to boot! They have released an album, 'Life Is A Game', featuring some of the hottest music and coolest sounds around. As well as ten original tracks, it also boasts tributes to Louis Armstrong, and classics such as 'White Cliffs of Dover' and 'Singing in the Rain'.

Etran Finatawa

Combining the rich nomadic cultures of the Tuareg and Wodaadbe people of the West African country of Niger - country that has been a cross-roads for the North African Arabs for thousands of years - Etran Finatawa blend traditional instruments with electric guitars and the polyphonic songs of the region. The effect is mesmeric and hypnotic, immediately transporting us to a land of vast desert skies, caravans and camel races.
