More Information

Blue

Blue

A four-piece boy band with a more aggressive edge than most. Formed in the summer of 2000, Antony Costa, Duncan James, Lee Ryan and Simon Webbe shot to the top of the charts with all their releases and won 'Best Newcomer' award at the 2001 Smash Hits Poll Winners Awards and at the 2002 Brit Awards. The boys went their separate ways in 2005 to pursue solo careers, but have since reformed due to huge demand from their loyal fanbase.

Lemar

Lemar

Possibly best known as the shock loser in the first Fame Academy, it was Lemar's performances with the likes of Lionel Richie during the show that marked him out as a true future star of the soul and r'n'b world. With his first single, Dance (With U), becoming a top 3 hit in 2003, here's one student that definitely made the grade.

JLS

JLS

London boyband JLS, made up of JB, Aston, Marvin and Oritsé, reached the final two of the X Factor 2008 final - the first group ever to get that far. Since then, their debut single has entered the UK charts at number one.

The Automatic

The Automatic

Four young men from a small village in Wales who have spent their youth crafting a giddingly exciting blend of all that's fresh in rock and pop, and are now set to spread the word. 'In 50 years from now, when musical academics come to show the world what music was like in 2005, they will put this on. They will then nod along thoughtfully and come to the conclusion that it's rather spiffing'- NME.

Liz McClarnon

Liz McClarnon

Liz McClarnon is probably best known as one third of multi-million selling girl group Atomic Kitten, but she is now spreading her wings as a very successful solo singer-songwriter in her own right.
