Quip is the alter ego of Ben Eyes, a software addict from Leeds. His interest in electronic music was sparked by a neighbour who, at the age of 10, played him Kraftwerk and told him his bedroom would look like Jean Michelle's studio when he grew up. Although this dream is yet to be realised Quip has found his niche in the moody, dark beats and gentle melodies that his guitars, found sounds and modular software yield.
