Uberstande

Uberstande are a 5 piece heavy rock band from the Doncaster area of South Yorkshire fast building a reputation as an energetic and powerful live force! Inspired by the great British rock tradition of Motorhead, Sabbath, Iron Maiden et all. Jon B (guitar), Dean (vocals), Sean (bass), Rob (guitar) and Simon (drums) dare to take the heavy rock genre away from the image over content and back to the dirty, bluesy days of old yet with one foot firmly in the here and now! Uberstande fully intend to start a new wave of British heavy metal!!

Ascension (2)

Ascension are an extreme free rock/jazz guitar (Stefan Jaworzyn) and drums (Tony Wakeford) duo. Very primitive, extremely proficient but bloody-minded in resisting any form of musical orthodoxy. 'In its very extremity it shakes the bars of the free improvisation ghetto it is locked in: Varesian siren-scapes, Hendrix war zones, Xenakis sound sculptures - they're all here, and sounding fantastic.'
