'Comedians: From the 1940s to Now' will feature a selection of photographs from the National Portrait Gallery's collections - portraits of some of Britain’s most well-known comedic personalities from the last 70 years. From Morecambe and Wise and the outrageous Lily Savage to Tommy Cooper and the talented Lee Evans - there will be a host of familiar faces from television and stage for you to see.
