More Information

Rise Against

Rise Against

A hardcore punk rock band from Chicago, with a positive outlook that separates them from many of their peers. Since 1999 they've been mixing the furious energy of old-school hardcore with a more melodic sound, blending influences in a way that shouldn't work but does. Musically the band presses all the right buttons, but they are also very socially aware people, and have used their ever-growing profile to support numerous good causes.

Thursday

A post-hardcore band from New Jersey, whose passion for what they do is matched by a legion of dedicated fans. Their thrilling time changes, strong melodies and beguiling vocal harmonies brought them mainstream success in 2002 with a main stage slot on the Warped Tour subsequently leading to a record deal with Island.

The Bronx

The Bronx

Southern Californian heavy punk group. After a mere twelve live shows they were signed to a major label in 2002 and have since developed a cult following on the American punk scene. Fusing eighties hardcore along the lines of bands such as Black Flag, Fear and Jane's Addiction, with a more modern day rock style, their sound is blistering, unashamed and completely unmistakable.

Mad Caddies

Mad Caddies are a reggae and dixieland jazz influenced softcore punk-rock septet from Southern California.

Rival Schools

Loud, driving emo-rock from one of the leaders of the New York post-hardcore scene. Supported fellow rockers 'A' on their 2002 tour.

Snuff

UK punk outfit hearkening back to the glorious days of mod.

Municipal Waste

Municipal Waste

Municipal Waste are a thrash rock/punk band from Richmond, Virginia who first arrived on the heavy metal scene in early 2000. With songs like 'Headbanger Face Rip' and 'Thrash? Don't Mind If I Do', Municipal Waste have marked out their territory as Kings of crossover thrash. With short, anthemic songs, Municipal Waste deal with issues like alcohol and thrashing whilst always trying to get it fun and lively.

A Wilhelm Scream

Massachusetts emo four-piece. Making the link between emo and lo-fi, A Wilhelm Scream transcend between moments of pure beauty to moments of pure mayhem; ‘…for this band, practice makes perfect, and anything less than perfect is unacceptable.’ - Southcoast
