Fame - Summer Youth Project

The Summer Youth Project continues to grow from strength to strength. Over 200 young actors/band members/backstage members audition every year and about 140-150 of them join a two week workshop and put on a professional West End show to audiences of 4,000 members of the public. 'Fame' follows the students at New York's School of the Performing Arts through their four-year course. We see them coming to terms with life and relationships: we see those who persevere, who are resilient - and those who are not. Above all, we see them perceiving the need to strive for excellence and perform classical to 'rap' music and dance going from ballet through modern to hip-hop.
