Dan Atkinson

Dan Atkinson

Good humoured and witty, it's when working with the crowd that Dan truly shines, weaving small comic miracles seemingly out of thin air. With an ability to find comedy where it appeared there was none, there's little time for material which is a shame: it's sharp, funny, and there's lots of it. Dan isn’t political or particularly topical, nor overly clever. He’s just a shabby bearded chap who always makes people laugh. You’ll never get the same show twice – it’s genuinely fresh and unpredictable. Full of hope, vigour and vitality, he’s hopelessly likeable and quite out of touch with real life.

Dave Fulton

Dave Fulton

Whoever it was who decided that Americans don't have any sense of irony, they forgot to tell Dave Fulton. This wry Seattle wag is positively brimming over with ironic invective. With his stringy beard, straggly long hair and rock 'n' roll black leather jacket, Fulton looks more like a refugee from a defunct British heavy metal band than an all-American stand-up... there's a salty flavour to his live club set that you'd scarcely describe as feminist. It's these contradictions that make Fulton so fascinating, and fun to watch, especially when he's riffing with British punters half a world away from home. (The Guide)
