Furious jazz-punk from this London-based trio. The Noisettes fuse punk, rock’n’roll and jazz to make glitzy, charismatic music, which shimmers beneath singer Shingai’s incredibly rich and powerful vocals. Sounding like a cross between Martina Topley-Bird, Karen O and Billie Holiday, her vocals convey a sense of raw dramatics one moment, and polished refinery the next. ‘Charismatic, enigmatic and exciting… this is a band with talent, creativity and passion in abundance…’ SouthScene
