More Information

Blindfold

Blindfold is the alias of Biggi from Ampop, Icelandic Londoner. Serene atmospheric electronica with an acoustic element- melodic but backed with sparse, emotive, organic, textured arrangements, coming across on the whole as understated, warm and earnest. Likened to Radiohead and Sigur Ros.

Efterklang

Haunting and evocative alternative electronica from Denmark's Efterklang. Like Sigur Ros, Mum or A Silver Mt Zion before them, their largely instrumental music manages to both inspire and arouse the senses whilst remaining accessible for most. Beautiful stuff.

Pole

Napoleon IIIrd

Napoleon IIIrd

Napoleon IIIrd is a highly original musician from Leeds. He makes a unique kind of leftfield pop from piles of antique organs and car-boot keyboards, gentle strummed chords and driving glitched beats. His euphoric live show brings a cheshire-cat grin to anyone lucky enough to experience it. Think sixties pop songwriting given a modern shine; composed of tape loops, guitars acoustic and electric and various toys. Every song he writes is a 'single of the year'.

It Hugs Back

A unique London based trio with a carefully crafted sound that lies somewhere between the melodic charm of Wilco and the softer side of Sonic Youth.
