Master remixers, producers and dance music creators , Underworld shot to prominence with the single from the 'Trainspotting' soundtrack, 'Born Slippy', and have been producing stylish anthems ever since. Dark, tuneful techno with relentless, stomach-gripping basslines that prove dance music really is an art form.

Booka Shade

Booka Shade are Walter Merziger and Arno Kammermeier, described as veterans of the Frankfurt electronic music scene. After beginnings similar to those of Underworld (namely as an overlooked early nineties synth pop duo), the band has more recently created club music. In 2002, they founded Get Physical Records with DJ T. and M.A.N.D.Y.

Treading in the footsteps of his famous father, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Femi is now the standard bearer for Nigeria's funky, feisty afrobeat sound. Backed by a heavily percussive, horn driven band, Femi dominates the stage with his stirring saxophone, playing soulful vocals and groove laden rhythms.

A mesmerising mix of Asian vocals and drum'n'bass rhythms, all skilfully blended by this maestro of the world scene. Winner of the Best World Music Act, Mobo Awards 2001.
