More Information

Duran Duran

Duran Duran

80s pop megastars who, for a decade, bewitched the world with chart-topping platinum and gold singles and albums across the decade. After acrimonious splits, Simon Le Bon & Nick Rhodes relaunched the band in the mid-90s and the band continued to be successful Stateside (as well as scoring hits in the UK with 'Ordinary World' and 'Come Undone'). 2003 saw the group reform with their original line-up and the reaction proved their fan base is as huge as ever.

Gang Of Four

One of the most radically inventive of the original New Wave bands, Gang Of Four were formed in 1977 by four Leeds University students. They quickly began marking out a territory of their own, fusing politics, musical experimentation and sheer rock 'n' roll energy. The band split in 1982, but have been reforming ever since. Their shows are always popular, both with fans who saw them the first time round, and with a new audience attracted by the huge number of bands the Gang have influenced.

Mr Hudson

It takes someone with foresight and imagination to pull-off the cross-pollination of hip hop and r&b beats with classic song writing, but in doing so Mr Hudson has hit upon a winning formula. A self-confessed outsider, this mixing of styles comes easy to an artist who has become the undefeated Jump Off Producer Champion of 2005. Championed by the likes of Sway and 1Xtra DJ Semtex, who were surprised to find themselves firm fans of the trilby-doffing newcomer, Mr Hudson's hybrid sound is attracting interest from all corners of the music industry.
