Bring Me The Horizon

This screaming metal and hardcore outfit from Sheffield were awarded Best British Newcomer at the 2006 Kerrang! awards. Whilst the band aren't particularly keen on genre boundaries (they're much keener on just making music), their sound is none the less one of the more authentic examples of intense metal on the U.K scene at the moment.

A Day To Remember

'Mixing death metal grunts with the brash melodies of pop-punk', ADTR formed in 2003 in Ocala, Florida, with a sound that cumulates in a combination of pop-punk, emo and metalcore. The quintet, signed to Victory Records, have three albums to date, and anxious metallers await Homesick, their fourth offering.
