Phill Jupitus

Phill Jupitus

This popular stand-up and TV comedian is well-known for his appearances on the pop music quiz show Never Mind The Buzzcocks. His career as a performer began in 1984 when he quit his job as a civil servant to follow a new direction as a performance poet on the alternative comedy circuit and supporting bands such as The Style Council and The Housemartins. During the late '80s he worked Billy Bragg, directing videos for both Bragg and Kirsty MacColl. Phill has an abiding love and in-depth knowledge of popular music, particularly ska, bluebeat and rhythm & blues. His hugely successful standup tours have included Jedi, Steady, Go and Quadrophobia, and he has worked extensively on radio, variously as a contributor, panellist and presenter. He has also been touring as part of The Blockheads line-up.

Marcus Brigstocke

Marcus began his comedy career in Bristol whilst studying drama at University and soon won the BBC New Comedian of 1996. Andrew Maxwell

Andrew Maxwell

Andrew is a very fine Irish comedian and BAFTA Award winner who can keep an audience focused with accessible and unpretentious topical comedy which has a pinch of his unique laddishness. 'I've seen the future of Irish Comedy and its name is Andrew Maxwell.' (Irish Times)

Andre Vincent

After cutting his teeth performing on the pavements of the world and winning the Time Out Street Performer Of The Year Award 1987, he transferred his skills to stand-up. He toured mainly in the USA and Canada, including a support slot for Bob Hope, before returning to his native London in 1994. Over five years on the circuit in this country have seen him rise to one of the most widely respected performers doing the rounds.

Ed Byrne

Ed Byrne

'Comic gold; you just stand up and cheer with everybody else'. The Irish bloke who cares a lot about mobile phones ...aahh!

Craig Campbell

Craig Campbell

The Wild Man of Canadian comedy delivering in style and occasionally making up one third of The Dinks. His unique humour fuses together whimsical anecdotes with salty stories of sex, drugs and circumcision. However, be warned, his laid-back manner and genuine warmth belie the true outrageous nature of his material. Still, his stoner philosophy and risque subjects have won him devoted fans worldwide. Simply put, he is a very fun man.

Jim Jeffries

Jim Jeffries

Aussie gagster: funny and a bit controversial... Expect a lot of laughs. Australian Comic of the Year 2001.

For more information, see the website

Ian Stone

Ian Stone

A delightfully witty and silly Jewish comedian from North London who has appeared many times on TV.

Carl Donnelly

Carl Donnelly

Carl started performing stand-up regularly in the early part of 2005 and quickly established himself as one of the most exciting new comics currently climbing the comedy ladder. Despite still being a relative newcomer, his confident, conversational style and childish sense of humour has seen him become a regular at clubs all over the country including various universities as part of the Avalon Comedy Network.

Jason John Whitehead

Jason John Whitehead

Expect intricately woven anecdotes and sharply crafted gags with an edge from this award winning stand up comedian. And his easy-going charm, combined with his laid-back, hippyish attitude, makes him one of the most likeable raconteurs around. His material is fast evolving to become almost as good as his delivery, too, with gently-mocking anecdotes sparkling with verve and wit. Add that to the natural affinity audiences have towards him, and you have an increasingly winning combination.

Matt Reed

Matt Reed

Formerly of the comedy duo Mat & Faron, Matt Reed went solo in 2002, scoring Leicester Comedian Of The Year in 2003. An energetic and engaging performer, he's loaded with cheek and will make your eyes water.

Tiernan Douieb

Tiernan Douieb

Tiernan Douieb is a natural compere. He's like a big tickling stick...and that's a good thing. But don't take our word for it, here are a few reviews from his 2009 Edinburgh Show: 'An endearing and good natured performer – The Stage. 'This densely packed set is delivered by a comic with charm and a sweetly boyish perspective….Douieb has an accomplished and charming manner and some genuinely funny material' – Edinburgh Festivals Magazine.

Glenn Wool

Glenn Wool

Inventive Canadian stand-up Wool certainly cuts a dash on stage with his heavy black eyeliner, long leather coat and distinctive cowboy hat. Already an established comic in the USA with his laid back, confident and edgy style and stunning improvisation. No subject too sensitive, no issue too extreme.
