More Information

Oasis

Oasis

'Beatlesque' melodies combined with attitude and arrogance akin to The Rolling Stones made this Madchester quintet one of the most important bands of the 90s. Catapulted to fame in 1994 with their debut album, 'Definitely Maybe', the Gallagher brothers fell effortlessly into the rock'n'roll lifestyle of sex, drink and drugs, offending everyone they met along the way. Famed for their temper tantrums as much as their music, their antics have made them Britpop's favourite bad boys and a godsend for the press. Love them or hate them, you can't deny their ability to write a damn good pop tune.

Kasabian

Kasabian

A glorious synth-tinged melting pot of indie rock that will caress the eardrums. Formed in Leicester while still at school, they took their name from Linda Kasabian, one of the members of the Charles Manson cult. Their electronica-indie rock fusion akin to Primal Scream combined with the rough vocal style and unrepentant Mancunian swagger of Oasis has firmly established them as more than just a flash in the pan and injected a large dose of energy back into the Brit-rock scene.

The Enemy

The Enemy

Coventry trio The Enemy have been kicking up a storm with their anthemic rock, with a sound somewhat reminiscent of Kasabian or perhaps The Jam. Born out of sessions messing about in their bedrooms, the band were cult heroes before they were even signed. They made their breakthrough on NME's coveted Rock 'N' Roll Riot Tour, and are now appearing on the bill with legends like Oasis, as well as headlining their own high-profile shows.

Reverend And The Makers

Reverend And The Makers

Reverend And The Makers are the brainchild of Sheffield musician Jon McClure, who recorded the original RATM demos with members of the Arctic Monkeys and Bromheads Jacket. The group uses a combination of indie rock, electro and funk to complete their signature sound, which has earned them headline tours across the UK and numerous bouts of critical acclaim.
