No stranger to the circuit, he has won many awards and his TV appearances include Punt & Dennis, Rory Bremner and Paul Merton. He has also been warm-up comedian for Smith & Jones; in fact Mel Smith called him 'The best warm-up act in the business'. In 2004 Wilty hit the headlines for the wrong reasons after an unwanted genital piercing in a camping accident at the Glastonbury Festival. That didn't stop him compering the cabaret tent two days later. 'I decided to show the front row the close-ups on my digital camera. As I went along the line, their heads went back in disgust. It was like a Mexican wave of revulsion.' What a professional!
A unique stand up style combining David's psychotic tendencies with charm, naivety and wit which is hilariously funny.
