A new opera work by Michael Berkeley, written by award-winning novelist Ian McEwan. The opera explores the frailty and foibles of human behaviour and the venom that sexual jealousy inspires, as the comfortable, middle-class household of a charismatic, ageing conductor-composer is torn apart by a woman prepared to go to any lengths in the name of love.
