London-based American jazz singer and BBC Radio presenter who was voted 'Vocalist of the Year' at the 1999 and 2001 British Jazz Awards. She sings with warmth and charm and breathes new life into the standard repertoire with a voice described as 'bright as diamonds in sunlight, tinged with a wistful, kittenish sweetness' (The New York Times).
