No stranger to the circuit, he has won many awards and his TV appearances include Punt & Dennis, Rory Bremner and Paul Merton. He has also been warm-up comedian for Smith & Jones; in fact Mel Smith called him 'The best warm-up act in the business'. In 2004 Wilty hit the headlines for the wrong reasons after an unwanted genital piercing in a camping accident at the Glastonbury Festival. That didn't stop him compering the cabaret tent two days later. 'I decided to show the front row the close-ups on my digital camera. As I went along the line, their heads went back in disgust. It was like a Mexican wave of revulsion.' What a professional!
Northern lasses Chambers & Nettleton are emerging triumphant as one of the brightest comic duos on the circuit today. The only female double act cutting it on the live comedy circuit, they are fast gaining a reputation for their warmth, infectious charm and caustic wit. Before a long-term friendship turned into a double act, Lynn sailed the world as a singer and performer and writer of comedy reviews! Sally went from drama school into acting, began improvising characters and onward into stand-up. Their success is not just contained to live work though; a major project with Mediatheme will see the duo performing recorded performances in over 300 venues nationwide.
