More Information

Fatboy Slim -

AKA Norman Cook, one of the most creative and innovative DJs and equally at home in the studio or on the road. Bringing you big beat floor thumpers with a generous pinch of humour, all in his own inimitable style.

For more information, see the website

Roisin Murphy -

Former lead-singer of the very successful indie-dance group Moloko, Murphy's solo material breaks away from the traditional Moloko sound of indie-dance, to become a bit more electro and funked up, but at the same time, her songs are often chill-out material. With a haunting but beautiful voice, Roisin's unusual vocals carry the trippy sound of her solo material whilst putting her own inimitable style on every single song that she writes and produces. Overpowered, the second album by Roisin Murphy, was released mid 2007.

X-Press 2 -

A phenomenal recording and DJing unit consisting of Rocky, Diesel and Ashley Beadle who first burst onto the international club scene in 1993 with Muzik Express. Expect roasting beats (a la Trance Europe Express), full on epic breakdowns and all kinds of catchy hooks. Currently signed to Skint Records (Fatboy Slim's label) and partaking of all kinds of six-deck wizardry, expect lots of surprises and innovative collaborations.

Hercules & Love Affair -

AKA Andrew Butler. His debut album was co-produced by himself and Tim Goldsworthy of DFA with vocal contributions from Antony (of & the Johnsons). Underground disco sounds.

For more information, see the website

Cicada (2) -

Musically, references have been made to the likes of Blondie, Can, New Order, The Sugarcubes, The Cocteau Twins, Daft Punk and Quincy Jones. Melding their influences into a wholly original sound has made them a unique prospect for the late noughties – the kind of band that the rock kids 'get' just as much as club kids do.
