The Pigeon Detectives -

The Leeds-based Pigeon Detectives play an exciting blend of rock'n'roll born out of a love for classic rock music and the indie rock of the 1990s. The Zutons -

From Liverpool UK with a glam-rock-boogie-vibe, this band are from the same stable that produced The Coral. However their second album "Tired Of Hanging' Around", showcases a new, heavier, beefier sound. Expect an improved, confident musicianship of five people with more soul than previously demonstrated on their debut record, during which they were still finding their feet. Frustrated but energised, jet-lagged yet raring to go, The Zutons are back with a big, ballsy album brimming with urgent saxophone and meaty riffs; swampy rhythms and pop to jump around to.
