A hardcore punk rock band from Chicago, with a positive outlook that separates them from many of their peers. Since 1999 they've been mixing the furious energy of old-school hardcore with a more melodic sound, blending influences in a way that shouldn't work but does. Musically the band presses all the right buttons, but they are also very socially aware people, and have used their ever-growing profile to support numerous good causes.

'Simple Plan' are a 5-piece band from Montreal, Canada. Whilst critics have been quick to call them a 'pop punk' act, the group has shown itself unwilling to stick to this template- second album 'Still Not Getting Any' used string-sections and drum loops (as well as the more standard guitar, bass and drums) to carry the songs. Hard work seems central to the band's ethos, and the well-crafted albums and exciting live shows are a testimony that this has paid off.

Paul Daniel Frehley, better known as Ace Frehley, is an American guitarist best known as a founding member and lead guitarist for the rock band Kiss. He took on the persona of 'Space Ace' when the band adopted costumes and theatrics. Frehley played with the group from its inception in 1973 until his departure in 1982.
