Design, Exploration & Popular Culture is a touring exhibition, organised by the V & A Museum of Childhood. Tracing our fascination with space through history, Space Age will take visitors on a journey from early astronomy, via the space race of the 1950's and 60's, to the cutting edge technology of the present day. Visitors will be able to touch a real life meteorite, see an original Russian Cosmonaut Suit, play Space Invaders, and discover how astronauts wee in space. Come and see how space exploration has opened new frontiers in design, architecture, music, film, fashion and literature.
