More Information

Biffy Clyro -

Quite possibly one of the most exciting bands in Britain, Scots trio Simon Neil (guitar/vocals), Ben Johnston (drums/vocals) and James Johnston (bass/vocals) combine moments of extreme aggression with achingly tender guitar pickings and passionately lovelorn lyricism.

Dizzee Rascal -

Underground dance master who stunned the UK garage scene with his debut album 'Boy In Da Corner' and single 'I Luv U' in 2003, both of which warped the sound into something dark, disturbing and deliciously innovative. The addition of the 2003 Mercury Music prize may be the first accolade of many.

Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly. -

Get Cape Wear Cape Fly, aka Southend boy Sam Duckworth, has gone from strength to strength since the world sat up and took notice after an open mic session in late 2005 caught the attention of Radio One's Huw Stephens. Fusing softly punk vocals and simple acoustic melodies, GCWCF appears to have stumbled across a formula that has seen critics and fans alike, bowing at his feet.

The Enemy -

Coventry trio The Enemy have been kicking up a storm with their anthemic rock and Kasabian-esque rock'n'roll. Born out of sessions messing about in their bedrooms, the band were cult heroes before they were even signed. Now on Stiff Records, they've been supporting The Paddingtons and The Futureheads and playing across the country at NME's coveted club nights.

The Fratellis -

Angular, spiky rock'n'roll with a hint of the indie and another hint of the pub. The Fratellis have been accurately described as 'T-Rex crossed with the Libertines' by the Barfly in their hometown of Glasgow. They are a three-piece (Barry, Mince and Jon), utilising the time-tested combination of guitar, bass 'n' drums to create their infectious and energetic rock music.
