Hailing from Cannock, England, Glenn Hughes is a vocalist/bassist and songwriter who has a long and distinguished career to his credit. He's best known for his work with the bands Trapeze and Deep Purple in the early mid 1970's, both of which were true pioneers in the hard rock genre. Trapeze enjoyed some success in the US, and with Deep Purple achieved world-wide super stardom and his place in rock history. He is the only artist from his generation playing music that is current enough to attract the active musical involvement of artists such as Chad Smith and John Frusciante of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, both of whom feature on the album, 'Music For The Divine'.
