Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip -

The hip-hop/electro duo whose name has been on the tip of everyone's tongues, since the release of their 2007 single Thou Shalt Always Kill. Sounding like a head on collision between The Streets, Goldie Lookin' Chain and Kieran Hebden's Fourtet, Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip manage to mix coolness, humour and wry commentry with some highly original material.

Pendulum (2) -

Formed in 2002 by three people from Australia, Pendulum create intelligent drum & bass, a sound that has dancefloor impact but also a deeper resonance. Their seminal single 'Vault' won Knowledge Magazine's 'Best Single of 2003' award, they now also work with Adam F and DJ Fresh under the umbrella - Breakbeat Kaos. Their DJ sets consist of fresh tunes, big beats and twisting basslines. The future of drum & bass...?

Booka Shade -

Booka Shade are Walter Merziger and Arno Kammermeier, described as veterans of the Frankfurt electronic music scene. After beginnings similar to those of Underworld (namely as an overlooked early nineties synth pop duo), the band has more recently created club music. In 2002, they founded Get Physical Records with DJ T. and M.A.N.D.Y.

XX Teens -

Weird and wonderful London five piece, namely Danny Fancy, Dirt Dog Cash, Pinstripe, Uber and Nuvo. 'Overstuffed pop music with a Fisher Price junglist aesthetic.' - Timeout. 'They are like The Fall rolling erratically down a hill in shopping trolley, full of multi-packs of guitars and keybaords. Very entertaining' - Steve Lamacq.
