The Cribs -

A tight trio from Wakefield, Yorkshire. They have combined a natural pop sensibility with a love of rock and roll, and produced a slew of thrilling well written songs in the process. At gigs these songs are delivered with real passion, and the band always puts on a good show.

Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip -

The hip-hop/electro duo whose name has been on the tip of everyone's tongues, since the release of their 2007 single Thou Shalt Always Kill. Sounding like a head on collision between The Streets, Goldie Lookin' Chain and Kieran Hebden's Fourtet, Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip manage to mix coolness, humour and wry commentry with some highly original material.

Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong -

Joe Lean is just one of the alter egos of Joe Beaumont, the drummer from The Pipettes, aka actor Joe Van Moyland. The Jing Jang Jong are set to be his most successful project with their brand of catchy indie-pop. Definitely one to watch out for at a small venue before they become huge!

One Night Only are a five piece rock/indie/electronic band from Yorkshire. They have been spreading the word of their unique sound since 2003, blending intricate guitars with synths, keyboards, pounding rhythms and melodic vocals across North Yorkshire and beyond.

The Enemy -

Coventry trio The Enemy have been kicking up a storm with their anthemic rock and Kasabian-esque rock'n'roll. Born out of sessions messing about in their bedrooms, the band were cult heroes before they were even signed. Now on Stiff Records, they've been supporting The Paddingtons and The Futureheads and playing across the country at NME's coveted club nights.
