More Information

Annie Lennox -

The scottish-born Annie Lennox has had a strong dedication to music ever since her third year of age, and it shows- a professional music career spanning over 20 years in which she has been perhaps best known for her work as half of 80's pop group The Eurythmics. Her solo career kicked off in 1992 with her first solo LP, and since then she's enjoyed worldwide success with a number of releases, collaborations and awards.

Queen & Paul Rodgers -

One of the best loved rock bands of all time, now on the road again with new vocalist Paul Rodgers. Queen were originally formed in 1968, and went on to achieve huge commercial success- only The Beatles have spent more time in the UK charts. The band split after the tragic death of their iconic frontman Freddie Mercury, and it was only in 2004 that the decision was made to play live as a group again. Paul Rogers' strong voice and experience with other legendary bands (Free, Bad Company) mean that Queen are able to recapture the excitement of their heydays.

Razorlight -

Passionate, wired and raw, Razorlight are the darlings of the music press. Fronted by hyperactive star-in-waiting Johnny Borrell, their very English brand of indie-punk has seen them compared to both The Clash and The Libertines, and their stunning debut single Rip It Up crashed into the charts. 'Sexy, shivery, gorgeous!' (NME).

Shirley Bassey -

One of the world's favourite divas. Probably best known as the singer on many well-known Bond themes (including 'Goldfinger' and 'Diamonds Are Forever'), Shirley has been lending her powerful voice to classic songs since the 1950's. As early as 1977 her status as a major musical figure was recognised (when she won a Britannia Award for Best Female Solo Singer in the Last 50 Years), and with more than a quarter-century of activity since, she is truly a living legend.

Simple Minds -

One of the great Scottish bands of the '80s, singer Jim Kerr and guitarist Charlie Burchill back together with all their great hits such as Don't You Forget About Me and Alive & Kicking - we haven't and they are!

Sugababes -

A three-piece all-girl pop group whose original members were all under 17 when they first hit the charts. Their chart smash reworking of the Gary Numan classic Freak Like Me got to No 1, and also earned the sassy trio a Q Award for Best Single. Since then they have taken the pop world by storm with a top 5 platinum album (Angels With Dirty Faces) and a Brit Award for Best Dance Act in 2003. Although only one founder member remains, the current line-up of Keisha, Heidi and Amelle will no doubt continue to delight.

Eddy Grant -

Successful reggae musician Eddy Grant, most famous for hits such as Electric Avenue, Gimme Hope Jo'anna and I Don't Wanna Dance.

Jamelia -

Signed to Parlophone aged 15, she won MTV Best Video at MOBO Awards in 2000. Since then, Birmingham's Jamelia's has moved from aspiring newcomer to the recognisable female face of UK R'n'B. She sings like a veteran, stars in quality videos and has gained the kind of respect most spend a lifetime trying to achieve.

Leona Lewis -

Winner of the 2007 X-Factor, whose debut single, A Moment Like This, hit the coveted Christmas Number 1 spot just a week after her win.
