More Information

2 Many DJs -

Belgian funk DJs (aka rockers Soulwax) whose eclectic bootleg mixes have endeared them to clubbers across Europe and propelled them to A-list status on the world's DJ roster. Destiny's Child mixed with Nirvana? Royksopp mixed with Dolly Parton? Oh yes!

Erick Morillo -

As a high profile DJ, Erick is currently one of the most in-demand and instantly recognisable in the world. From the climb-the-walls success of his weekly ‘Sessions’ parties in New York, to hosting events like the annual road-blocking Subliminal Sessions parties in Miami for the Winter Music Conference, to his coveted residency at Ministry of Sound and of course his now legendary Subliminal Sessions parties at Pacha, Ibiza.

Fatboy Slim -

AKA Norman Cook, one of the most creative and innovative DJs and equally at home in the studio or on the road. Bringing you big beat floor thumpers with a generous pinch of humour, all in his own inimitable style.

Paul Van Dyk -

This former carpenter has worked his way into the enviable position of globally respected producer and DJ at the cutting edge of dance technology. His production techniques have produced some real gems, including 'For An Angel' and the ridiculously uplifting interpretation of Humates 'Love Stimulation'. As a DJ he prefers a long set (three to six hours), covering all things progressive, deep, and trancy.

Sasha -

Top rated DJ at the Ministry of Sound playing progressive house. Sasha was recently voted No 1 DJ on the planet by DJ Magazine.

Gossip -

This Arkansas trio have weapons of mass destruction in their no high-hat style drumming, innovative guitar tuning and charming vocals. All of these create a bluesy nu-wave garage rock sound. Photo: Larissa James.

Ian Brown (1) -

Former Stone Roses frontman pursuing his groove-edged funky solo career. The monkey man of Britpop is still flying high while those around him have crashed and burned; Ian's stars have never burned brighter.

Pendulum (2) -

Formed in 2002 by three people from Australia, Pendulum create intelligent drum & bass, a sound that has dancefloor impact but also a deeper resonance. Their seminal single 'Vault' won Knowledge Magazine's 'Best Single of 2003' award, they now also work with Adam F and DJ Fresh under the umbrella - Breakbeat Kaos. Their DJ sets consist of fresh tunes, big beats and twisting basslines. The future of drum & bass...?

Simian Mobile Disco -

Debaucherous minimalist rave from London duo James Ford and James Shaw. Using the kind of vintage minimal beats that only a 1980's Casio can produce, this eccentric pair somehow manage to make techno sexy with their use of static vocals and fragmented rhythms; '...twisted disco as it should be.' - RoughTrade
