Wyndham Lewis: Portraits
This exhibition will centre on Wyndham Lewis' unique record of the most important, literary, modernist creators of the first half of the twentieth century. Central to this is his involvement with the other 'Men of 1914', such as Ezra Pound, T. S. Eliot and James Joyce. The main attraction will therefore be the 1938 portrait of Eliot, well-known in small reproductions, not seen in the UK since 1980, and not seen in London since 1956.
From 10:00am-6:00pm / Late night opening Thursday and Friday until 9:00pm
