More Information

Delays

Delays

Delays have long been British rock's best kept secret. A heady concoction of angelic harmonies, beat-group hauteur and groove-based hedonism, they belong to British pop’s most regal bloodline: (early) Floyd, The Smiths and The Stone Roses.

Mark Ronson

Mark Ronson

The superstar DJ and producer that everyone wants a piece of! Ronson became a regular at downtown hip-hop spots and made his name as a DJ on the New York club scene in 1993. He was soon one of the most respected DJs and was being called on for celebrities' private parties. Ronson is known for his diverse, genre-spanning selection, influenced by both the hip-hop scene of New York and the more rock influence of the UK, amongst others.

Dizzee Rascal

Dizzee Rascal

Underground dance master who stunned the UK garage scene with his debut album 'Boy In Da Corner' and single 'I Luv U' in 2003, both of which warped the sound into something dark, disturbing and deliciously innovative. Considered the most popular and influential Grime artist in the world, and also recognised as an innovator with his production style. 2007's 'Maths + English' is a masterpiece and a credit to the genre.

Little Man Tate

Little Man Tate

Little Man Tate have tunes, tunes, tunes. Not just the latest new band from Sheffield but potentially the best. They ooze commercial indie-pop potential in a Kaiser Chiefs meets Carter USM stylee. Immensely hummable tunes reflecting everyday life with real humour.... you simply have to see them live to fully appreciate them.

The Rumble Strips

The Rumble Strips

Rumble Strips hail from Devon, with a look and sound that's completely their own. They mix thundering brass and drums with singer Charlie Waller's [former member of Vincent Vincent and the Villains] soaring vocals. Their music is born out of brilliantly self-deprecating lyrics underpinning glorious, uplifting melodies and pop-hooks. Two limited singles released earlier last year set tongues a-wagging and cemented The Rumble Strips' place as one of the most exciting new bands for 2007.

Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip

Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip

The hip-hop/electro duo whose name has been on the tip of everyone's tongues, since the release of their 2007 single Thou Shalt Always Kill. Sounding like a head on collision between The Streets, Goldie Lookin' Chain and Kieran Hebden's Fourtet, Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip manage to mix coolness, humour and wry commentry with some highly original material.
