A 3am show is a magical experience; there’s an aura present that’s not to be found with other blues bands. As the critics and the music press all agree, this London six-piece are onto something special. Watching them live is enlightening; a band thriving on achieving a sound as tight as possible, then letting it all go with a sweet, raucous blast. They may drag in their musical influences from amongst Vinegar Joe, Led Zeppelin and Free, before launching it out alongside Helen Turner’s incredible vocal abilities imbibed with the spirit of Janis Joplin, but their attitude is simple: let loose and have some fun.
