Castle Howard is opening for its 2008 season on 1st March with a new exhibition, Surviving Henry: Tudor Howards on the Block. This new exhibition marks the relationship between the Howard family and one of England's most notorious monarchs. Under the glowering image of Henry VIII (one of Castle Howard's most celebrated portraits), and in the shadow of the executioner's axe, Surviving Henry recounts the topsy-turvy fortunes of the Howards in the 16th century and beyond.
