Sabbath or Zeppelin can easily be cited as major influences of this Vancouver four-piece as they continue to develop and move into new waters with their own brand of classic rock. Described as 'one part protest song, one part pop-cultural commentary, and one part sick-groove-rock', Black Mountain are on a mission to spread their word on the world.

A great new folk act from America. Songwriter Sam Beam has a rare way with words, and the music is just as moving. 'Clearly the greatest Miami songwriter of all time...Beam is unquestionably near the top of his craft as he creates one hauntingly beautiful song after another. With hushed, intimate, lyrical portraits revealing a depth not seen since the 60's folk movement, it's hard not to resort to cliché and call Beam's work pure poetry'- www.ohmyrockness.com.

Hearing her voice is like being wrapped in silk sheets and slowly rocked into a blissful state of peace and relaxation. She is compared to Nick Cave and PJ Harvey, but Nina Nastasia has a dark, unnerving strength all of her own. The US has produced few original singer-songwriters so in touch with its contemporary condition.
Former member of Fairport Convention and one of England's most respected singer/songwriters whose live performances are enjoyed across the world, and whose new material is on a par with the classics he wrote decades ago. Being described as 'the English Bob Dylan' is a fair comparison, only Richard is a good few years younger!

Formed out of the ashes of the sadly missed Spacemen 3. Spiritualized have consistently made music that epitomises the phrase 'Junkie Cool'. Amazing songs about life, death, love, sex, drugs and the big guy upstairs. Live they are incredible and could have anything from a small horn section to a full orchestra to back them up, and a pretty cool light show too.

As Wales' favourite psychedelic popsters, the Super Furry Animals have inspired a whole generation of artists since their emergence in the mid-nineties. Recording in both English and Welsh, they changed the way that many thought about the language, whilst producing some of the finest summery Beach Boys-inspired indie to have surfaced in the last two decades.

Classic Americana songs full of luscious melodies and hip grinding grooves. Howlin’ Rain is unfiltered music, lending to both its glory and its grit and blemishes. The band was formed on a whim, the album was recorded on a free wheel but the blood and sweat that went into bringing it all to life are omnipresent in every ounce of music. Howlin’ Rain features: Ethan Miller (singer, guitarist for Comets on Fire) on vocals and guitar, John Moloney on drums and percussion and Ian Gradek on bass guitar and banjo.
