San Sebastian (2)

Three lads from Bishopbriggs, just outside Glasgow, formed a band. Niall, the arty one, had been playing the guitar since he was a young lad and had always had a wee pal called Craig. When they went to secondary, they met a specky called Vinny. Vinny didn't like Niall for some reason, until a Home Ec class when Niall made a toilet bag with the Nirvana symbol on it. This was to become what is now known as San Sebastian.

Kobai

Going much further than current trend of 80s style electro bands, and with an abrasive edge to their rock sound, Kobai mix fat electronic synth riffs with heavy angular guitar layers and a powerful rhythm section to create a hybrid of rock and dance.

Flood Of Red

Flood Of Red

Glaswegian six-piece Flood of Red are emo, screamo post-hardcore rockers whose energy and emotion is accompanied by hints of classic metal heard in their bass and percussion parts. Their experiments with synthesizers and electronic effects give them a modern edge suited to their age but doesn't infringe upon the fact that this is classic emo rock.
