Sandi Thom was born in the north east town of Banff, Scotland, with Scottish and Irish roots, and learned piano and church organ at a young age. Mainly influenced by Buffy Saint Marie and Carole King, Sandi's unique voice and sound are making a big impact in the UK's swelling nu-folk scene.

Arguably overshadowed by the rise of Bob Marley, Jimmy Cliff continues to enjoy a successful career that's seen him record 20 albums and boasts two of the biggest worldwide reggae hits; 'Wonderful World, Beautiful People' and 'You Can Get It If You Really Want'. With a respected sideline in movie acting, most notably in 'The Harder They Come', 2002 has more recently seen him scoop the 'Contribution to Urban Music' MOBO award.
