This is one of my favourite venues in Oxford. Yes, it's basic, but the staff are friendly, the music is great, the back room is the perfect size, the sound quality is generally spot on.

You get the impression that this place is run by people who love music, and they appreciate their customers as well. There's no barrier between the stage and the audience, and you're allowed to drink out of glass.
