Escobar first opened its doors in Wakefield in November 2003, filling a gap in the market for a live indie music venue. A little over six years later, and with the Wakefield venue having seen live performances from the likes of The Cribs, Carl Barat, the Artic Monkeys, Pigeon Detectives, Kate Nash, Jack Penjate, Reverend and the Makers, The Enemy and many more!
