Saw Skinny Molly and The Wholigans at The Globe recently and was very impressed.
This venue is what Cardiff has been waiting for for a long time, a 350 person venue with great sound & lighting. And with such artists as Ian Parker, Popa Chubby, Buddy Whittington and Eric Sardinas scheduled it's gonna be a big hit.

Went to The Globe last month for the first time to see Jess Morgan (watch out for her first album later this year). Great venue. Big enough to attract a wide variety of musicians. Small enough to create an intimate atmosphere. Good sound system, too. We need venues like this (especially since the demise of The Point). Looking forward to my next visit, to see the Blues Band.
