Three bars in just one venue means the George caters for pretty much anyone. The top bar has a cosy typical 'British pub' atmosphere complete with obligatory dartboard. A covered gangway will lead you down to the bottom bar and dance-floor which is only really used on a Friday or Saturday night, sometimes hosting live music or karaoke.
There’s also a beer garden, play area, BBQ area and venue bar outside with seating and projector TV. Great little place to go in the Summer to watch the footie! Cobbled path which leads to the beer garden is a nightmare in heels though, especially after you've had a few!
The George also does food during the day and at night there’s an Indian restaurant right upstairs. Perfect!
