Ropetackle Arts Centre is a purpose built community-run arts venue that attracts some of the biggest and best performing arts events in the UK. Situated in the heart of Shoreham, West Sussex, our goal is to stage events for all tastes and all budgets. A registered charity, and staffed almost exclusively by volunteers (including our Trustees), Ropetackle Arts Centre brings a new cultural edge to the South, presenting music, comedy, theatre, film, art, dance, lectures, talks, and workshops. The Centre has its own fully-licensed bar, and enjoys a picturesque location by the River Adur. Easily accessed from the surrounding Sussex area with quick rail links from London.

The venue is absolutely delightful. The wide open foyer, with it's dramatic columns and delightful bar gives you the warmest of welcomes! The auditorium itself creates a great atmosphere for absolutely any event.
All the local pubs and restaurants provide any visitor with the greatest pre show or post show experience.
