Very friendly Woodford Halse Social Club - with great facilities for bands. If going regular then join for few quid and get your own key fob to front door and sign in members and use the nicer bar with more choice of ales! has burger bar. Can book tables for 8- 10 guests around sides of room. Buy tickets on line.
Although historic building built in tudor frontage style its a fairly new music venue - maybe 2-3 years. Local guy Barry decided to promote new music and tributes acts at his local rather than keep travelling around country - great idea!  
Very friendly welcome and crowd. Parking in street, if late can give you bit of walk on country lane !  
Seen great tribute acts here - see my reviews of ELO experience, secret police and kings of queen. Nice mix of music with more heavier rock like lizzy, led zep, hamsters, hendrix very well supported.
Promotor even has 4 different sized venues, 3 in this village to suit all bands from smallish pub (Fleur de Lys), Woodford FC footie club (150?) up to 300 at this social club. Plus new venue at Atherstone nr Coventry and Nuneaton (Not been to).

Had hoped to see U2/Coldplace here on Nov 28th but now seen they've moved to Atherstone venue so not sure what's happening - maybe a refurb?

Just to inform Ents24 visitors, woodfordrocks did use this facility until July 2007, but has since pulled out totally, so any gigs there after this date are not us!!
