Event Venue: O2 Academy Glasgow
The energy, and stage presence that papa roach can generate with just one song is amazing, especially when u consider that the supports were not exactly to the entire audience tastes. they were truly amazing, and by the end of it they all had sweat literally poring off them and were still giving the same crazed faces and manic leaps as at the start. Also they could not have chosen a better venue, the O2 academy was perfect for them. If they had had better supports it would have bean one of my top gigs.
expect to stand for ages and ages outside in the freezing cold because although it is now regarded as a concert venue it only has entries sutiable for a cinema which genrally does not have an influx of hundreds of people at one time so in the winter months be sure to get your long johns on as its cold enough to freeze the nuts off a brass monkey. Why they just cant let people in as they arrive i dont know they can do it in other places. Perhaps if they put numbers on seats then we could book our seats and not arrive till the artist is due on stage instead of seats being unreserved. Went to see Toby Keith last night he was brilliant but my night was spoiled having to wait 90 minutes to get in.
